Timbes Architectural Group master planned the original Myrtle Beach International Airport in 1975 for growth into the 21st Century. The terminal has stood the test of time expanding from 25,000 SF to 155,000 SF today. TAG has been involved with M.B. Kahn and LPA Group in determining how the airport facilities will grow over the next 20-25 years to meet the strong growth of our area, which is expected to more than double the size of the airport terminal facilities. TAG recently completed the design of the new terminal expansion along with the design of a new rental car facility and toll booth plaza. The new design package will give MYR an identity for all new and existing travelers that use this facility in the future.
